EDITORIAL
In the first activity of the Unit 1 uc Pedagogical Processes in ELearning, it has been proposed that we find, to study and we shared resources that were related to the theory of Cooperative Freedom and we did an annotated bibliography.
In this brief annotated bibliography I refer to seven features.Through the first three references sought, first, understand the concept. The fourth and fifth reference, refer to the online catalog, place where, in NKI Distance Education, users are presented, which can make your profile visible. Then in the sixth and seventh references, I refer to a post and a chapter of a dissertation which deals with the differences between 'group' and 'network', something which I think is important to realize, in the Cooperative Freedom, cooperation group, because as long as I attend the Masters Course at various times, I was asked to work in team in collaborative work and was not used the term cooperative.
Cooperative online education - Video (published on YouTube on June 12, 2008) where Professor Morten Flate Paulsen introduces, in the first person, the theory of Cooperative Freedom in online education, referring to the year in which first appeared - 1992 - and referring to viewing the rest of the video featuring the theory through a cartoon (published in toonlet, on May 17, 2008).
Cooperative Freedom: An Online Education Theory - Article where Morten Flate Paulsen presents a theory of distance education based on current theoretical perspectives and discusses how it applies to online education. According to the author, the theory of the Freedom Cooperative can provide, in online learning, both , individual freedom and cooperation in groups. It is a theory that fits the theory of autonomy independence, being influenced by the theory of andragogy (Knowles) and is intended for all those young people and / or adults who want to control their learning outcomes and be motivated.

NKI Distance Education and its learning philosophy - In this article, 5 October 2006, the elearningeuropa.info, you see the new online service for distance learning, promoted by NKI Distance Education. The key to this philosophy of learning in distance education is, according to the text, the in community learning and individual freedom. It covers issues such as learning partnerships, the creation of a learning community, the satisfaction of online students, the students' experiences and ways to disseminate it through their profiles.
Profiling Online Students - In this post, Morten Flate Paulsen celebrates the fact that in August 2008, NKI Distance Education online course enrollment its number one hundred thousand. At the same time, referes the online catalog, where all registered users of NKI Distance Education make their presentations. Morten Flate Paulsen stated that currently, all users can choose to include your presentation in the open catalog, by clicking the Global Visibility to your User Profile and a month after the catalog was released, 250 people (2.5 percent of users) had chosen the overall visibility. Morten considers this aspect as a significant development that should interest all members of EDEN, at which publishes the blog post that we are looking for three reasons. at which publishes the blog post that we are looking, for three reasons. We give particular emphasis to the third,: being, traditionally, the student of distance learning, almost invisible compared to other groups of students, this kind of feature - online catalog - where everyone has their profile and share, can help the distance learning student to be more visible.
The profile of Thor Steinsland in the catalog online - we considered relevant, in this annotated bibliography of our early research on Cooperative Freedom, refer to the profile of Thor Steinsland, since it was present in October 2008, the workshop of EDEN in Paris to talk about his experience as a student of distance learning. Embedded in the profile, it is published his (slideshare) presentation. There, in a very synthesized, relates his journey as a student of distance education (slide 2), describes the importance of negotiating in family (slide 3), highlights the need for an individual plan of work (slide 4); Finally, the last slide (4), noted the importance of NKI's online catalog, the participation in forums to maintain contact with peers and teachers, the need to find partners in learning (learning partners) and share your work with partners.
Networks Versus Groups in Higher education - On this post of 17 March 2008, Terry Anderson shows the use of the network as a way to allow a more distributed learning, going, therefore, beyond learning in groups. Of the purpose of the development of lifelong learning, Anderson writes, "Networks afford opportunities for learners to associate, negotiate, plan and execute projects, on a global scale with other learners." We believe it is essential to understand this concept to understand the role of networking in Cooperative Freedom Theory.
3.3. Groups, Networks and Collectives - During the research and readings taken for the implementation of this initial work, we feel a constant need to reflect on the concept of group and individual network. Moreover, the previous reference goes that way.We found on this chapter of the work of Jose Mota, a set of references, analysis and synthesis that we believe will allow us to distinguish betwen network and group. However, it is also apparent in this reading that these are concepts whose definitions are not closed and are in discussion.
REFLECTION
In this brief reflection, when I'm completing the work in Pedagogical Processes in e-learning, I begin to highlight the quote that I refer in the sixth reference (Terry Anderson): "Networks afford opportunities for learners to associate, negotiate, plan and execute projects, on a global scale with other learners. "
In a way, the contents of all other references cited in this annotated bibliography are in line with this view of Anderson. For example, on first reference, Morten presents his theory on the network, using a video and cartoon, both online. In The profile of Thor Steinsland, Steinsland introduced his route, telling us about his project and how the developed, thus sharing its experience and making visible a way of life and learning that may serve as an example for others. I think that in this first annotated bibliography is very clear that learning in networks can bring visibility and this is therefore a very important aspect to understand the theory of Cooperative Freedom, because in this theory networking is an ally individual freedom.
